3.1 SVR as a Service Provider / Processor

In many engagements, SVR processes Client Data on behalf of Clients to deliver Services (e.g., building software, integrating systems, implementing analytics, troubleshooting, hosting, support). In these contexts:

  • The Client controls Client Data and determines what is collected and how it’s used.
  • SVR acts as a service provider / processor and processes Client Data only as instructed by the Client and as permitted by contract.

3.2 End Users of Our Clients

If you are an end user of a Client (for example, a patient of a healthcare practice that uses software SVR built or maintains), SVR’s processing of your information is governed by our agreement with that Client. Please direct privacy requests to the relevant Client first.

3.3 HIPAA / Healthcare Data (If Applicable)

If SVR processes Protected Health Information (“PHI”) on behalf of a covered entity or business associate, SVR will do so under a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) where required. In that case, the BAA governs how PHI is used and disclosed.
